Five members of IUNVA Post 29 Carlow attended and completed a course in Heart Care CPR – AED which was conducted at IUNVA Post 27 Portlaoise recently.
Gerry O’Sullivan was the instructor for the day and gave an excellent demonstration and explanation throughout the course
Dan Carroll, John Kelly, Noel Noctor, Martin Foley and Dan O’Sullivan from Post 29 were the representatives and Andrew from Post 27
The course consisted of information on how to carry out CPR and use an AED and after lunch the students completed a practical series of exercises in CPR and the use of the AED on adults along with CPR on juveniles and infants
Congratulations to all the students on successfully completing the course and a big thank you to Gerry O’Sullivan for his excellent delivery of the course.
