Remembering all those who sadly lost their lives in the First World War 1914-1918, the following organised and attended a wreath laying ceremony at the Monument in Leighlinbridge.
The man in charge of the remembrance ceremony is Martin Nevin, Leighlinbridge, he is also the organiser.
Wreath Layers were: Robin Harvey Royal British Legion (Republic of Ireland District), Hugh Kelly, IUNVA Post 29 Carlow, Martin Maguire (Carlow Museum)
some family members and friends of the people named on the monument were present at the ceremony in Leighlinbridge
A minutes silence was followed by laying of wreaths and the Last Post & Revellie followed by the Irish National Anthem.
