At the Delegate meeting held by Zoom on 18/03/2021, it was agreed to hold the AGC 2020 by zoom on Saturday the 24 /04/2021. Minutes of the delegates meeting will be sent out to all post Secretaries plus delegates later this week. It was decided by the delegates not to hold elections for positions on the National Executive but to hold off until AGC 2021 which should be able to take place in a face-to-face environment later in the year.
Please find attached also an amendment to our standing orders reference committees and post meetings. These amendments come into force now but will also have to be ratified at AGC2020.
Can all Posts send me details of your two delegates for AGC2020 to include their email addresses?
If posts have any motions please send them on.

Insert Rule 20A Standing orders
That in a time of crisis such as a pandemic or other situations where travel and/or group meetings are prohibited or discouraged, all national and post committees stay in place until the situation allows for face to face meetings and , social distance measures are removed and it is deemed safe to do so.
Where possible post committees will meet by media such as Zoom to carry out day to day running of the post.
National committee meetings, Delegates meetings may where possible be carried out by Zoom.
AGC’s may be held by zoom if possible.
