On Sunday 10th November members of IUNVA Post 29 Carlow attended and helped with the remembrance service at St Marys Church Carlow.
The service was very well attended by local Councillor Paul Doogue, TD Jennifer Murnane O’Connor, Garda Superintendent Anthony Farrell and many people from the local community
The Revd Paul Fitzpatrick conducted the service
John Kelly of IUNVA Post 29 was on hand to help with the last post and reveille
The flag bearers were Matthew Doyle, Martin Foley and Noel Noctor with John McNally overseeing the flag laying
Robin Harvey laid a wreath on behalf of the fallin comrades of WW1
The Post 29 Chairman Dan Carroll and Charlie Callanan were present also at the service
Thanks to everyone involved on a smooth successful service. Refreshments were made available in the centre next door
