Mental Health First Aid Course

Funding of 6000 Euro will be sought from Leopardstown Hospital trust. There are 15 places available on the course.

Posts are asked to send names to me for forwarding to National Welfare Officer by the 9th of August. Post welfare officers who have not done the course should try to avail of the course. If the course is oversubscribed only one member from a post will be able to avail of the course. If over 15 posts apply it will be decided by the earliest date of the application.

This course would cost 400 euro per member if members wanted to do it outside.

Members applying must be sure they will be there on the 2 days as this is the first time we are applying for funding from LPHT and if any member does not show up on the day it could jeopardize future funding.
