Annual Mass / Wreath Laying Ceremony

Dear Post Member,

 

Our Chairman James Ryan wishes to advise all members that IUNVA Post 29 Annual Mass / Wreath Laying Ceremony will take place on Saturday 25th July 2020 at the UN Monument beside Askea Church on O’ Brien Rd, Carlow

 

A wreath will be laid on behalf of deceased Members of IUNVA Post 29 and on behalf of the families of members of the Defence Forces, Garda Siochana and Field Service who have lost their lives on United Nations Service.

 

In keeping with Government Guidelines a short ceremony will take place in accordance with HSE social distancing Guidelines.

Full Dress with Medals and white gloves.  Have winter jacket in reserve in the event of inclement weather.

Our ceremony is restricted at this time due to Covid 19 and NO gathering for refreshments will take place afterwards.

 

Timings

1330 Hrs         Parade forms up using social distancing at UN Monument outside Askea Church.
